FAQ

Q: How do I book a date?

A: Your date and time are secured once a booking deposit is paid. The remaining balance is due on the day of the session.

Q: How should I prepare for the shoot?

A: I’ll guide you through the entire preparation process, from choosing the right location (studio or outdoors) to sharing references and mood inspiration. I recommend natural makeup and soft, effortless hair styling. Choosing the right outfit helps create portraits that feel natural, timeless, and true to you. The focus should always be on you, not the clothes. Wear something you feel good in and can move comfortably in. If you feel relaxed, it will show in the photos. Jackets, knitwear, scarves, or overshirts can add visual interest and allow for subtle variation without a full outfit change.

Natural fabrics photograph beautifully on film: Cotton, linen, wool, denim: they hold texture well and create a softer, more organic look.

Q: I’ve never been photographed professionally. Is that okay?

A: Absolutely. You don’t need any prior experience in front of the camera.

I work with both professional models and first time clients, and I’ll guide you gently with posing and direct you throughout the shoot. My goal is to help you feel comfortable, confident, and truly yourself.

Q: When will I receive my photos?

A: Your final edited images will be delivered within 14 working days after the shoot.

If you need your photos sooner, express delivery is available for an additional 50% of the session price.

Q: What is analogue (film) photography?

A: Analogue photography is shot on traditional film rather than digital sensors. Film has a softer, more organic look with natural grain and color depth that can’t be fully replicated digitally. It’s ideal for timeless, artistic portraits. In a world of instant digital perfection, film photography offers something real. Every frame is intentional, every shot is unique, every image is a piece of art. No filters, no endless reshoots just raw, authentic beauty captured on film. It’s nostalgic and timeless, every frame is so special!

Q: What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?

A:  Your session can be rescheduled once, as long as you let me know at least 24 hours before the shoot.

Please note: the booking deposit is non-refundable if the session is cancelled.

Q: Will I receive unedited or RAW images?

A:  No. I deliver only carefully edited final images that reflect my artistic style and quality standards.

Q: Can you alter my appearance (for example, make me look thinner)?

A: I believe every person is already beautiful exactly as they are. Everyone has their own unique presence, and there’s no need to change or reshape bodies to create meaningful portraits. I don’t do heavy retouching or body reshaping. My editing focuses on natural skin tones, atmosphere, light, and authenticity — enhancing the image without altering who you are.
